Observations of The Merchandise Mart_Field Trip

When visiting these showrooms it was nice to see that the hospitality feel is still popular. People who are in an office want a comfortable feel in their furniture. It allows for more productivity and an overall better atmosphere. The Knoll showroom was a big contender for this. Knoll had some consistency with their products from the last time we visited.

Here a few pictures of products and designs within the Knoll showroom:

A curved workstation that was originally made for Google.
Comes with an area for convenient power connections
and sit to stand options.

Furniture from the partnership with Knoll and the
Scandinavian furniture company, Muuto.

Plant walls utilized in the showroom. Planter boxes
are created from cubicle overhang cabinets.

Chair designed by David Ajaye, a well-known
architect.

Here a few pictures of products and designs within the Herman Miller showroom:

Conference table with a beautiful book-match veneer.
Hanging dry erase boards make an interesting point.

This artwork adds a "fun" feel to the office.
This workstation has many different additions and
layouts to cater to the workplace.

It was very exciting to see this product from
Framery Acoustics becoming very popular.
